Urban Canvas Artist Network-- Updated Activities.

U.C.A.N. is proud to introduce theater director Robert Lee Davis. Davis is currently a Police Officer for the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department who has had a passion for the arts since he was young. Davis believes that the problem with our society and communities begins when young minds are still developing.

This is why Davis has joined Urban Canvas Artist Network, as the Theater Program Director to develop an acting workshop called A.C.T. (Achieving Change Throughout) for students at the Blewett Middle School in North St. Louis. The program ends in July, but A.C.T plans to run the program on an annual basis. Mr. Davis will also be collaborating with groups such as St. Louis Writer’s Group to put together a play production featuring Blewett Middle School students next year.
